Six Words

I linked up to MamaKat's Workshop again.  Here is the prompt I chose:
Six Word Memoir: Write about a significant time in your life in just six words.

I wish I was stronger then.

There is a very significant part of my life that I will never blog about where I wish I would have been stronger. I wish I would have known who I was.  Part of me wishes I wouldn't have made the mistake, but I was stronger after it and I am stronger today because of it.

  1. Love this Tayarra. You know, if you do ever want to share your story you can do it anonymously on Band Back Together (or at my place...I've had a few bloggers do it there before)...

  2. We all have these times, but of course that's what made us who we are today and brought us to where we are. Just where we are meant to be. Great memoir.

  3. I understand about having things you won't put here. I wish I was stronger then too! I wish I had known better...

  4. Sometimes I wish I could go back in time and be who I am now, but I know that all those times I wasn't as strong as I wish I'd been are what made me as strong now. Great post!

  5. What Natalie said. If you feel like you need to talk about it, but don't want to have it attached to your name, you can post it at Bandbacktogether.com

My strongest moments have always been after my weakest.

  6. I think all of us, at one point or another in our lives, could have been stronger, too, or smarter, or just generally better.

I also have things I'll never blog about. Perfectly understandable, since most of our readers are perfect strangers.

  7. I think lots of us wish this. But the important thing is that you are strong now.

  8. I often wish this too... but I am today because of all the mistakes and wrong turns.

  9. My thoughts exactly on some stuff I too, cannot write about on my blog. Powerful words.

  10. Oh, Love - I'm glad that you see you are stronger now. You are. You are you - because of and regardless of past actions.

  11. I'm glad you're strong enough now to see the difference. Good for you!

  12. I have one major regret in my life. A regret I have tried to make good and finally accepted it never will be healed. Then out of the blue in the last couple of days some hope has been renewed. I won't refer to it on my blog as it is too personal and I don't want the other person backing off by feeling exposed. What went wrong all those years ago changed me and yes, I wish I had been stronger then too. But now I am a different person as a result and I'm happy to be that person, the good, the bad and the ugly!

  13. I have moments I wish I had been stronger for, but I wasn't where I am now then.

  14. I feel the same way about a few moments from my past, but like you I've come to realize that they made me the strong woman I am today. There's strength and beauty in that. For both of us.
