Someone likes me...

How sweet is this?!  I received another award.  It is especially sweet since the only other 2 awards I received (on the same day) I didn't pass on and thought I would never receive another one again.  So glad Korinne was able to look past it.

So here it is.  I love it and appreciate it!

Now onto 10 more things you supposedly don't know about me.  HMMMM????  Since I have started this blog trying to come up with something you all don't know is a hard task to accomplish for all of you loyal readers.  You should know everything by now (wink.wink)!   Ah, sorry, I totally don't spill it all here.  There are some things I have tucked away.  But, is there anything I can unveil for you, I don't know?  Oh, for goodness sakes get on with it!  Ahem!!

  1. I shot my brother in the eye once with a bow and arrow.  It was a child's set with the tip broke off, but it still did some damage and he had a couple of surgeries.  It was an accident.  Like I knew I had that good of an aim at that age.
  2. Everyday I take my lunch to work (well, most days) and every day I am starving after I eat it. It is usually not packed in small portions either.  I'm starving now.
  3. I hate these "brush over" bangs I had my stylist cut. What was I thinking? They get in my way!
  4. I used "stylist" in the sentence above to make me sound cool!
  5. I should have gotten into major trouble for a few things I did in high school, but I flew under the radar.  No need to bring up the past!
  6. I have been listening to the Word of Promise (Bible on CD) to and from work and I have to slap myself in the face to stay awake.  That sounded bad, but I am still in the old testament when so and so begot so and so.  Let's face it you all, that is not the most exciting life lesson teaching the Bible has to offer.
  7. I can't wait to get to the book of Job.  I think that is one of my favorite books.
  8. I check my phone (Facebook and Twitter) way too often!  Dale thinks I am addicted!
  9. I'm allergic to penicillin.  (Yes I'm reaching here)  I did have a really bad reaction to it when I was younger.  It was actually the sickest I have ever been and spent some time in the hospital because of it.
  10. I have been on 1 cruise in my life with some really great friends.  It will probably be the only cruise in my life.  Dale tries to stay away from big ships in the middle of the ocean.  But it was an awesome time!
It's time to pass it on and yep, I'm gonna do it this time.

Geez, Baby!  This is Dale's cousin and now mine.  I like to think that she belongs to me, not Dale.  Anyway, I love her and I want to see her blog more because she has a ton of stuff to offer the blogosphere with her spunk and all.

Me Daily  Because I so totally miss her and her blogging since she decided to move.

MommaKiss  This lady cracks my $h*# up!  I don't cuss much (on here) but she does and she does it well.  She is a great mommy too and I enjoy reading her tales.

A Beatiful Mess  I love Alicia!  She is sweet, adorable, and real.  Plus she connects with you as a reader and takes it seriously.  That's the kind of bloggin girl I love!

Mommy of a Monster  This lady cracks me up as well.  Not to mention she has an adorable son and 2 ADORABLE twin daughters!

Love Imagine Create I love how creative she is and the process she is going through with finding and loving herself.

Sugar Tails  She always puts things into perspective for me.  Plus her daughter is ADORABLE as well with the most beautiful eyes!

Ok, so I need to stop.  I love reading blogs.  You'd think I didn't have a day job or kids or a busy schedule!  I have quite a few others I frequent and love.  Check these blogs out.  You are in for a treat!  Thanks again, Korinne for the thoughtful award.

  1. So you probably know i am the WORST rule follower w/ these awards, but I'm truly honored by your bestowment upon me. Is that even a word?
Now - #1? I can only think of the Christmas Story "You'll Shoot Your Eye Out!"
Also - you reading (or listening to) the bible makes me all embarrassed by my trucker mouth. I should be more God Fearing...

    you're the sweetest, and I *hope* I'm really a good momma. I try ;)

  2. Aw, I'm so touched!! Just the words I needed to hear today! And btw, you are so funny! I cracked up reading this, esp the part about the old testament. So true! And the bow and arrow injury. I recently had bangs cut too and I hate them. Haha. And I'm an iphone junkie! I admit it.

I got the little side bangs, too...and guess what? They are always bobby pinned back and I'm tryin to let them grow out again. Pain in the butt.

I liked getting to know a bit about you too. :) And just so you know that you're not alone -- I'm always, always hungry!!

  6. I SO belong to YOU. I love that you like to think that..and now you KNOW it!

CONGRATS on your award - your HONESTY is truly beautiful.

So I'm new to this..are there rules? It was so fun learning 10 quirky things about you..lol..I don't think I have anything!

P.S. I hate bangs (long, short, feathered..doesn't matter - it's the front mullet of heads). I have been trying to grow mine out since 8th grade. I have this widows peak that I hate and recently fried the little hairs coming out of it with my broken chi. So I had to shave it. Will I have to shave every week for the rest of my life now? I need to consider a more permanent approach because I'm embarrassed now to go to my 'stylist'!

  7. P.P.S. (or is it P.S.S...that just looks too much like piss!)I'm a bit of a Dylan fan - and I used to love "She Belongs to Me". I hadn't listened to that in years and so I just did. Not sure what I thought it was about when I was a kid..LOL..but the "salute her when her birthday comes" was some funny coincidental timing! I think I'll go buy myself a red Egyptian ring to remind me who I belong to! :)

  8. Congratulations! Thank you so much. I am flattered. I can't believe you had such good aim with the bow and arrow as a child. Crazy! Funny story now though. :-D
