It is late. I am tired. I need to go to bed, but I just had to post the most amazing thing that happened in our house tonight just a few minutes ago.
Wyatt came to me, handed me my phone he has been playing games on and said he was going to bed. It is some kind of miracle. A tender mercy?! (Alicia wrote about those) Of course there is no guarantee that he will stay in bed at this point or how long it will take him to go to sleep, but I will take this as a huge stepping stone for the night.
Is it Mother's Day today?
Night all!
Oh, out of bed #1. Maybe I spoke too soon.
Hallelujah!!! The heavens opened and heard your cries. Or his.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, girl...
That is a sweet tender mercy. (even if it only lasts 1 minute)
Bravo for recognizing it.
Sending sleeping vibes your way...
Ha! How cute. Happy early Mother's Day to you!!!
ReplyDeleteLook, stop stressing about stuff you CAN change. Does Dale stress about this stuff too. I say that only because I stress about the same shit and it does nothing. The bed issues. I used to freak out about the kids being in our bed, and Tracy kept telling me our kids are only little once. The terrible 2 issues, remember kids are going to do things forever. You and Dale are a team. You guys got this. Just keep your keys in your hands. LOL.
ReplyDeleteHope you and your family have a great Mothers Day.
Stop stressing. Go running with Dale or let him kick your ass.
